DeVoe College of Beauty

The DeVoe College of Beauty, located at 750 Bartow Drive, Sierra Vista, provides cosmetology and nail technician instruction. Accredited by the National Accrediting Commission of Cosmetology Arts & Sciences, the school was first licensed in 1972 and has been in the present location since 1984.

Requirements to Enter the School

Request a Student Inquiry Packet.
Complete and return the consumer information forms enclosed in the studen inquiry packet.
Complete and return the Federal Financial Aid Application.
Proof of High school Diploma or a GED.
Proof of age.

Cosmetology Course
10 month course
$7,500.00
A new class begins the first Tuesday of each month.
To become a licensed Cosmetologist, the State of Arizona requires 1,600 instruction hours at a cosmetology school and the completion of a written and practical test given by the Arizona State Board of Cosmetology in Tempe, Arizona.

Nail Technician Course
4 month course
$3,200.00
A new class begins the first Tuesday of each month.
To become a licensed Nail technician, the State of Arizona requires 600 instruction hours at a cosmetology school and the completion of a written and practical test given by the Arizona State Board of Cosmetology.

Financial Aid

The DeVoe College of Beauty is approved for VA assistance and the US Department of Education to provide grants and loans to those who qualiy.

Complete the financial aid application. Return the applicaton to the school. The application is transmitted to the Depatment of Education. A response is normally received back in 5 to 7 days for verification of acceptance and a determination of the financial aid award.
