Before presenting the results of my efforts to date, together with a few words of explanation, I need to make clear that by no means do I pretend to know all that I could or should know about music! I am sure that many of you could teach me more than a thing or two.
One of the reasons for sharing my work is to get feedback from as many of you as possible about the histories related to these songs. I hope here also to share whatever other arrangements some of you may have already at hand or may be inspired to create.
All suggestions for improvements to any aspect of this ongoing effort will be gratefully received and carefully considered.
